About Us

A congregation of spirit-filled worshippers contending for revival in the Washington DC region.

Our Mission

We seek to deeply experience the love and presence of God and to share the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in raising up a generation of worshippers to pursue the heart of God and bring transformation to their families and communities through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our History

We are an English-speaking ministry born of Washington United Korean Presbyterian Church (워싱턴한인연합장로교회) which was founded in 1969 and was instrumental in providing a place of worship for Korean immigrants in their early settlement in the Washington DC area. In 2022, the Korean ministry empowered the English-speakers within the church to start a new ministry for their second-generation youth members, young adults, and young and growing families.

Rev. Moses Lim
Youth/EM Pastor

Pastor Moses Sang Lim is an ordained minister who has been active in ministry for over 25 years in the Washington DC metro area, Seattle, Blacksburg, and Seoul. He longs to see the fullness of God’s love and power to be released in His Church, and to train and raise up disciples to fulfill the Great Commission. Pastor Moses desires to see people come into the life-transforming relationship with the living Christ through the preaching of God’s inerrant Word and the powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit.

He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, Audrey, and their children, Judah, Chloe and Zion. He loves to play basketball, go fishing, throw some chadolbaegi on the grill, and spend time with his family.

Pastor Esther Cho
Children’s Pastor

Pastor Esther was born in Korea and moved to the States at the age of seven. In college, God gave her a heart to disciple little ones to become the light of this world as God’s children. She has been serving UKPC as the Children’s Pastor since March 2017. Her prayer is for this ministry to be an essential resource for families to spiritually connect and build their relationship and values in the Gospel. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, especially her two nieces, and try out new restaurants in town.
